Look Development - Map Page Transitions
Late into production, our game Frozen Frenzy Mania ran into a challenge with the world map. We wanted our players to be able to scroll around the map smoothly, without skips or hitching caused by loading and unloading assets. The decision was made to split the map into multiple pages, each containing a handful of regions. The art director asked for concepts of how we might transition between pages.
